is still swimming with her calf
sixteen days after it died

last night i dreamt that a raccoon got into the house
it was rambunctious and fun at first but then things shifted
it got a little aggressive when politely shown the door
i woke up just as it turned on me and started biting my thumb
note to self:  be mindful of welcoming unexpected guests

• pikas are mountain range creatures
• pikas do not however have tails
• prairie dogs are apparently mountainous in range also
• here we have prairie dogs...other places have meerkats
