have hands to clasp'...
thanks Suess
and that moment when
the soft golden light
of a late November afternoon sky
lifts your spirts
as you wind
down
the
day
in these shorter days/longer nights
the doves need to know
there is no time
for
snoozing
~
get busy
winged
ones
butterflies outside
butterflies inside
words out into the valley
eyes
ears
and butterflies
accustomed to hearing their songs
just before dawn
but today
an awesome chorus
serenading us
this late
afternoon
~
cheerio
cheerio
cheep cheep
~
sing sing
sing on
wee red
ones
spring gardening
is even more labour
intensive
when trying to escort
each and every
lady bug
out of
harm's
way
