 I see you...

a little lion

 

hanging on

as so many other blossoms

are waning

the portulaca

who have been shy

all summer

are bright 

crimson

faces turned to 

meet the waning rays

of soft

autumnal

sun 

the visitor

not quite the equinox

but an advisory

overnight

summer to autumn

falling in

with

Jack Frost 

ochre sky

eerie light today

from all the smoke

in the air

burnished

hazy

~

this can pass

anytime...

anytime

now 

reflections

for the third time today

a bird flying into the 

window

thankfully 

seemingly 

unharmed 

afterwards minor detours

flying away

~

adjustments required

new flight plans/

trajectories needed

for all of us

how to navigate ways through

the ever unfolding

world

in the air

the sun is shining

the smoke has cleared

and everything is 

calm

peaceful 

and perfectly

still
