on this new moon

nursing ankle halos
perfectly ringed mosquito kisses
carried over from Saturday
leaves falling
geese swooning
itches yet to come...

pinkies

the hawaiian impatiens
are waiting for bumbles
bees knees
and all good things

the rallying cry
calling y'all
c'mon bumblers

the little tan dog

overseeing Riverdale yesterday
perched and paused on all fours
time for timeout
the hustle the bustle
not his style
no collars or tags for this dude
a free spirit paws away from gopherville
furry comrades burrowed deep
nestling down

the little tan dog overseeing Riverdale yesterday
will be just fine thank you
with a little help from kindreds
you me us
spirits and all

laying down

making inroads here
dandelion ghosts
moth kisses and delphinium dreams
a calendula invasion overtakes portulaca
Portia Lackin'
as the bed grows wild
this is not exactly what i want to say
but specifics are overrated
lamenting what is likely coming down the line
XL
excelsior
and points in between
making inroads here
however fragmented
subject to pavement
tar
sticky dreams
gazanias clam up on cloudy days
the bed grows wild
not exactly what i wanted to say
but for now
laying down
yesterday's robin
tomorrow's pathways
arteries ventricles
merge

going going...

the east wing of the Artery is quiet now
no tiny tails thumping
no wee noses twitching
the go go gophers have gone gone gone
south of Jasper on 95th
a little ghost town
no more prairie dogs
on this patch of plain

knit 1

the woolen purse strings
and the flocks that follow
a pattern of being

7K/21D/24H
sticky hands labour

sighs from the plain

knit knot 1
purl purloin 2

riverbanks
weeping
over
over and out
overburden

mayday
